Secondary Investments

Elaine Small joined the London office of Paul Capital in 2004 as Managing Director of its secondary private equity operations. Among her primary responsibilities are the sourcing and negotiation of transactions in the UK and Eire. She is also responsible for the development, management and support of the firm's network of local representatives across Europe and the Middle East in cooperation with the Paris office. Ms. Small has broad responsibility for GP relationships, as well as for communications with institutional investors throughout Europe. She brings over 20 years of line and management experience in banking and finance as a Managing Director of both First Boston and JP Morgan, and an earlier career with Bankers Trust. Most recently, she headed up Spencer Stuart's private equity and venture capital executive search practice in Europe. Ms. Small received a B.A. in Philosophy from Princeton University.
