Lionel Leventhal joined Paul Capital in 1999 as a founding member of Paul Capital Healthcare and was instrumental in developing the Fund’s business plan and product structures. As Partner, Mr. Leventhal is primarily responsible for negotiating, structuring and executing investments, in addition to sourcing transactions. He also manages debt financings and facilities related to the Fund and its portfolio investments. Mr. Leventhal has 15 years of experience in principal investing and investment banking. He sits on the board of several Funds' portfolio companies and is on the board of trustees of the Children's Brain Tumor Foundation and imtooyoungforthis.org. Prior to joining Paul Capital, he structured, negotiated and managed principal investments while working at Golub Capital, a middle-market buyout and growth capital private equity firm. Previously, Mr. Leventhal advised Fortune 500 companies on corporate strategies while working as a consultant for Bain & Company, and structured M&A deals while working as an investment banker at Credit Suisse First Boston. Mr. Leventhal earned his M.B.A. with honors from Harvard Business School and his A.B., Magna Cum Laude from Harvard College.
